Experimental investigation on the post-fire performance of reactive powder concrete columns

The increased use of reactive powder concrete (RPC) in structures has attracted attention towards the structural behavior RPC fires. This work examines experimentally performance and NSC columns subjected to 25% ultimate load exposed direct fire flame for a period 30 60 min at various temperature levels. paper aims evaluate maximum level duration that can be withstood by this type columns. results show failure mode without reinforcement is sudden shear failure, whereas reinforced crushing with rupture certain ties. high temperatures spall intensively; additionally, strength clearly decreases compared same conditions.
